Robotic Runtime is not working
Hello,
I'm not able to register Virtual machine using RPA.
I have installed the latest version of Pega Robotics 8. I have updated Runtime, Studio and Common config as suggested in many posts and Installment instructions. I'm unable to find tray menu icon in my machine, also nothing happens when I run "OpenSpan.Runtime.exe" file.
During first run it did ask me for RPA Credentials for which I have provided the operator ID details I have created in Pega 7 applications.
Could someone here help me in resolving this issue.

Thanks sasnt, for helping me in enabling runtime time logs, upon which I was able to identify that It was failing with below error.
Error requesting data from Pega. http://localhost:9210/prweb/PRRestService/robotics/v1/register .
I have unchecked the "Require TLS/SSL for REST services in this package" in Robotics service package and then it started working.

So, as you may have figured out, when the icon does not show, it indicates failure to register your robot. It is often helpful first to enable RuntimeLogs and checking in this file first to find an indication for what error was thrown in registering the robot.
Second, can you let me know which version of Robot Manager and which version of Pega Robotics you have installed?
Is your Pega Platform server installed on your local machine - is it really localhost? I might suggest putting the direct IP address if that is the case.

Could you please let me know how to enable RuntimeLogs?
I have installed Robotic manager version 4 and Pega Robotics Studio 8.0.1084.0, and yes Pega platform server is installed locally and it is localhost.
Url I use to launch my pega application is http://localhost:8080/prweb/PRServlet. I have also tried changing the config file to refer IP address instead of localhost but no luck.

The easiest way is via the tray icon. Right-click the icon and select Diagnostic Configuration. From there you can set the log categories to verbose and enable the FilePublisher. You can also enable in the config file. In the %AppData%\OpenSpan folder is a file named RuntimeConfig.xml. There is a section for FilePublisher. You can enable it there by setting the Enabled attribute to True. In addition, you can change all of the log categories to level 4 to get the most verbose logs.
