Request to clarify below Rule Resolution process
Hi Team,
1.Created sample section(Tempsection) :Inherite:01-01-03.
2.Created another ruleset (inherite:02-01-04) and created another section(Tempsection) with same name in inherite:02-01-04.
3.Created another ruleset (inherite:02-01-05) and created another section(Tempsection) with same name in inherite:02-01-05.
4.Updated rulesets in application record to point to 02-01.
5. Logged to update ruleset list(operator-preference) and now it is pointing to inherite:02-01.
6.performed search with Tempsection
Expected:I should not be able to see Tempsection:01-01-03 in search results.As ruleresolution filters rules based on rulesetlist major version(Major version 02)
Actual:I can able to see Tempsection:01-01-03 in search results.

Hi,
Search is not runtime. Rule resolution is the mechanism that Pega will use at runtime in order to figure out what is rule that should be executed.
Major version do not have access to previous version at runtime, correct.
Here you are just searching. What if the business is asking you to reverse a change, it is interesting to have access at design time to prior versions so you may save one as into a new ruleset version.
