Report definitions -- need to show data of 3 different classes which are not connected to each other

Hi All,

I have a requirement, I need to show data from 3 different (classes)data types in a report definition which are not related to each other. I mean we can´t use joins/subreports as per our requirement as they are not related to each other. So we are planning to create a new data type with all the columns (can say this is an umbrella data type with all these 3 datatypes merged in it).

My query is --> Is this the only solution or is any other alternative for this to achieve our requirement.

Hi Sri,

I don't understand what the report is supposed to show. If there is no relationship between the 3 classes, how are the columns in the report going to present the data?

In order to present options, we need more detail about the 3 classes and what the report is supposed to represent. In other words, what question does the report provide an answer for?
