I dont think so, since this is not a bug, it is unlikely that this will be achieved using a HFix.

Hotfixes are only provided in case of a bug. 

But we can try to achieve this using some local change if possible. 

We can use "On Click" - "Set Focus"  to set the focus on the current click element and use a focus selector.

eg: 

div:focus {
  background-color: yellow;
}
