Remote RDA
Hi All,
We need to configure the RDA for a client but since they have a IT policy which is not allowing us to install robotics on the end user machines, we proposed that we can have the RDA on a VM that will have the robotics, I would like to invoke the RDA automation on that VM.
Could some one help us in configuring the Remote RDA.

Let me make sure I understand;
- You will have a VM that your users login to that has the applications you wish to automate installed.
- Users will provide credentials for these applications within the VM.
- Runtime will be installed on this VM and will be triggered from some event to perform some automations against these applications.
Is this correct? Would results would need to be delivered back to the end user, or would it be sufficient to display them on the VM?

That's Correct,
on step three the triggering event is from the Pre processing Flow Action in Pega PRPC.

This isn't possible out-of-the-box as far as I know. The Pega Platform RDA is designed to communicate with the local machine. You might have to elicit some support from our consulting teams to get further assistance here or make this a product enhancement.

We are following the OOTB design of the RDA. i.e invoking the automation which is local to the user.

Hello Mani,
is it something similar to , that , you are triggering the runtime locally
and taking input in windows form / any other sources and running the bot...in local machine ( without any pega platform connection )
