Regarding Component

Would like to know few details on How to create a component in PEGA 7.2 or 7.3 version.

We have a requirement to make a functionality as a Component and plug in to any application.

Can we include any type of PEGA rules into the component ?

What will be the class structure of the rules in the Component ?
