Refresh section is not refreshing the Repeating Layout contents

Hi,

Requirement :

We have requirement to revert the change made in drop down(in repeating layout) on click of 'Reset' button. Button is configured outside of RDL , but within same section.

Attempted soln :

1.We have tried Refresh section action set on click of button, which is not working.

2. We have tried placing dropdown in separate section and used Refresh-other section which is also not working.

Pega version : 8.4.1

Please share your thoughts on mitigating above issue. Thanks!!
