Recommendation for weekly restart of PEGA environments.
Hi guys,
Could you tell me if it is valid to restart JVMs weekly with the PEGA application? Our application is managed by IBM WebSphere.

@WhicktryR16888570Hi, is there a specific reason why you want to restart JVM's weekly? Generally speaking, you want to avoid restarts when they're not necessary :)

The reason is to perform a memory cleaning sequence to improve the application's performance.

Then it seems you need to look for memory leak, or increasing global memory for your server and to have some more cleanup activities for your servers & applications.
Having to restart an application weekly for memory looks like there's something which can be considered as an issue :)
Then there's of course a need of resources for above proposals, so if there's no budget to do anything and if a weekly controlled restart is allowed & is enough, then indeed, this is an option to consider.
Not a recommendation but can be your quick & dirty solution if everyone is fine with this approach.
