Read PDF in Pega 7.2.2

Hi Team,

Would like to know whether we can read PDF text in Pega ? I have a requirement to parse/infer PDF file and validate whether the customer name is matched with the case property .CustomerName.

Please advise.

There is no OOTB way to read the PDF file data in Pega and the below discussions might help you to proceed further with your requirement.

Hi Venkat,

I have a similar requirement. How did you parse the file? I tried the approach Rachit suggested but I'm getting many special characters having metadata about file but not the actual content.
