QuotaCheckError.DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED
Hi All,
Tying to Configure Paid media Manager for Google Ads, encountered below error message.
"Exception occurred while saving destination.QuotaCheckError.DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED"
Access level of Google API is "Test Account", is it necessary to have basic access for testing the API's also? or issue with something else??
Thanks in advance for the help.

I believe these are not test accounts, those are business manager account and an Ad account. As this developer token is not approved, you should be crating test account with your second google account as described in "Creating a test manager account" section of the article I have shared . So basically you will end up having a test manager account and a test account in addition to above accounts. The ID of this test account should be used in destination configuration.
These test accounts will be tagged as "Test Account" at Top right corner in ads.google.com. Please find the attached screenshot for reference.
Please check on this.

Developer token do not require approval to make calls to a test account. This error suggests that we are making calls to production account with an unapproved developer token. Please verify the Ad account/App creation and account set up with this article https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/pega-marketing/enabling-people-based-ad-targeting-google-ads
Could you please share logs? Also the attachment in your post seems to be missing actual error, I just see close icon.

There seems to be issue in Community. Even I can't see the images from other posts(only close icon seen).
With new Gmail ID, I followed and generated Developer Token, client Customer ID, Client ID and Client Secret. But still I am facing the same error.
I am attaching error from Log file.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Did you create test manager account and link a test account to test manager account?
I suspect that you are using the customer ID of Ad account creating as part of creation of Google manager account. If you want to connect to this account(non-test) then the developer token needs to be approved.
In order to use unapproved developer token, we need to create test manager account and a test account under that. The client customer ID should be the test account's. Developer token is still from manager account.
Could you please check this?

Hi @MANNM1,
Firstly, Thanks for the reply.
I am sure I am doing some mis-configuration here. But not sure what exactly is that.
So, I have created a document with all configs I have done, can you please have look and let me know where it was mis-configured.
Thanks in advance
Krishna
