Query on property level validation

Hi,

A datetime property( A) with text + calender control on UI has a property level validate rule created which validates if A has a value and is greater than B (datetime property). Now, if the validation fails, A changes its format to "YYYYMMDD" instead of the default date format from the calender control (dd/mm/yyyy). Can someone help me understand why the format changes on validating?

Please check the Date field formatting for Editable and Read only format.

If show validation message in ready only format option is enabled and if it is different, it may take the read date format in validation.
