pxDateTime Control chnging format mddyyyy to unexpected

Hi Friends,

I used control datetime for the date field in UI also I put on change refresh. when I entered date 6052018(format mddyyyy) , pxdatetime control will be formatting to different format(1/8/6052 12:00 AM). Is there any way that we can handle mddyyyy format? Unable to see the pxDateTime control code as I am working on 7.1.7 version. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for the reply.. I tried the different ways but it's not working. Can you please check by entering date something like this: 6252018(Mddyyyy). take on change refresh and see the results. Please update me if it's formatted correctly. Thank you.
