Purge Cases with Attachments in External Storage
I have an application configured to store case attachments in an ECM system (using CMIS) I have a requirement regarding retention time of the cases and attachments.
To meet this requirement I am looking into configuring the archiving/purge functionality to purge the case, but I couldn't find any explanation on the behaviour the purge will have on the attached documents that are stored in the ECM.
Will pega execute any CMIS deletion request to the ECM when purging a case that has an attachment?

Pega does not do this out of the box.

Cant the archiving be handled separately for documents storage? We do it in the same way where, the two systems can be handled separately.

It can, but I am doing an assessment of how Pega CMIS behaves with ECMs, so I need to understand Pega CMIS capabilities. I'll test this out to make sure, but having an official response from Pega on how the platform behaves in this case is very relevant to what I am doing.
