PRPC clusters and shared storage
What shared file systems other than NFS, are supported by Pega for use by PRPC HA clusters?
If I use a Samba client on each of my Linux PRPC nodes to connect to a shared CIFS volume, will this work? Is this configuration supported by Pega?

Shared Storage Application servers require fault-tolerant shared storage in order to facilitate initiated and uninitiated shutdowns. Organizations must choose a shared storage solution and will need to implement the shared storage API to integrate with PEGA 7. PEGA 7 supports shared storage using NFS or shared disk out of the box, but these solutions are not inherently fault tolerant. PEGA 7 servers require read/write access to shared storage for disk-oriented solutions.
In theory CIFS should work just like NFS but we have never tested that - whether we want to officially support CIFS is a decision from product management.
