PRPC 6.1 SP 2 Update

Currently, one of the systems the Bank uses PRPC 6.1 Sp2.
In view of the fact that older versions of websphere 7.x and 8.0 x in 2018 are removed from the support,
you must upgrade the version of PRPC to websphere 8.5. x 9.x.
please tell me, is it possible to update the prprc 6.1 to the latest version of PRPC 6.3 SP1 or later within PRPC 6,
so as not to alter the current functionality, but simply to update the version of PRPC? And in this case, preferably,
obnoviti to the latest version 6 or upgrade to PRPC 7.3.

Hi,
The question is not clear, you can upgrade form 6.1 Sp2 to 6.3 SP1 or 7.3, there is no issue please follow upgrade guide.

Good afternoon. Thank you. first task is to upgrade to the latest PRPC 6.x is compatible with websphere 8.5 without serious improvement of the system and with the minimum of effort. I'll start off by confirming that WAS 8.5 support starts in 6.2 SP2, but obviously we suggest you move to our latest versions.
It sounds like you're looking for minimal effort post upgrade and certainly the jump from 6.x to 7.x is a greater in terms of changes than staying in the 6 series. That being said, no matter what version you upgrade to you should still perform testing and may need to make adjustments because of changes in the platform. With that in mind, I don't think the amount of effort needed for going to 6.3 SP1 will be that much greater than the effort needed for going to 6.2 SP2, but there will be a number of platform improvements.
So, my recommendation would be for you to go to 6.3 SP1 if going to 7.x is not something you're ready for just yet.

Thanks for the advice. The point is not whether I am ready or not.Just there is a risk that the project of transition to new version of PRPC may be delayed and not make it to term removing the old version with webspere support. Consequently I now required in the shortest possible time to update the platform on a test server and make sure everything works correctly and, if necessary, to update the version on the industrial circuit.
