Process/Steps to be followed JBOSS to Tomcat Migration Project

Hi,

I have a JBOSS working application which I want to migrate an existing web application which runs on JBOSS to tomcat Server

I am not sure how to migrate and which are equivalent files or configuration needs to be taken care in Tomcat

What are the flow/steps/check points to be followed for the migration ? Any video which explains the migration process.

Please kindly give the suggestions/thoughts

https://docs.pega.com/bundle/platform-88/page/platform/install/prepare-app-server-jboss.html tells you the configuration files used by Pega if you are using JBOSS (EAR installation may have different files and you may need to refer to appropriate documentation for the same)

https://docs.pega.com/bundle/platform-88/page/platform/install/prepare-app-server-tomcat.html tells you the configuration files used by Pega if you are using Tomcat.

Make sure to take backups of WAR deployed and compare with OOTB and see if there are any Customizations. 

Go through these and you will get an idea.

Ultimately, you are connecting to the same DB just that Data sources need to be configured correctly and you should be good.

Make sure you are testing it properly.
