Pipeline not moving post custom task in Deployment manager 5

We have added a custom task in pipeline according to requirements. However post completion of custom Task execution Task Status remains  "Open-In Progress" and it has no way to move to next step.

 

Any suggestions on how to move pipeline forward post custom task.

Was able to resolve the same by passing necessary parameters in D_executeRestConnector and adding the same to run task activity.
