Adding tasks to "Development" stage of Deployment Manager pipeline
Hi,
Why is there no option to add a task to the development stage of the pipeline. If we want to execute PegaUnits tests before deploying to QA or Staging, how can we do it? Or, if we want to invoke a Jenkins job in the development stage, there is no option currently.

Hi Raveendra,
I did take a look at the post you shared. However, it does not answer my query. What I am looking for is to be able to add steps or tasks (Jenkins/Run PegaUnit test, Manual and so on) in the Development stage. All these options are provided from QA stage onwards.

Hi Chaitra,
We now have the ability to run Pega Unit tests on every branch that gets merged into the target application. However, if we want to run the pipeline manually, in the CD section under the Development stage we still cannot add a task to run PegaUnits. Will it be made available soon? Also what is the thought process behind not providing the option to add tasks in the development stage of CD?

Hi Namitha,
In Deployment Manager we consider Development stage as SOR(System of Record or Single Source of Truth). Expectation here is, first level polished code is present in the Development stage(Considering development happens in Remote machine). So you can not run Pega Units in Development stage. But you can run Pega Units in QA stage.
