Pega VS Plug-in and VS 2017

Does Pega Robotic Automation Studio Plug-in 8.0 only work on Visual Studio 2015. We currently have VS2017 installed and I would hate to have to install VS2015 in order to use it. If it is only VS2015, when can we expect to have support for VS2017?

8.0 is compatible only with VS 2015 and not compatible with VS 2017. Regarding support for VS 2017, be in touch with respective AE and you can contact engineering through your respective AE for more details on the support for VS 2017.
