Using Pega Robotics Plug-in
Hi All,
I am working on a Project where we use Visual Studio for development. Even though I am opening up minimum No of automations at a time, then I am just selecting another automation I have already opened, VS is getting very slow and will be not responding for quite a while. I have 16GB of memory.I know this behavior totally depend on the H/W and system. But is there any steps that I can follow so VS will work smooth?This is slowing down our development speed a lot.

This is not something I have experienced. The plugin itself should not really consume any resources. I would suggest that you open an SR with support to have someone take a look at your machine. If you do, please record the SR number here for tracking.

Is your project stored on a network drive? Is your machine a physical machine or a virtual machine? In my experience when the dev environment is operating slowly it is always related to the number of automations you have open (which you are managing) or the hardware.
If your project is on a network drive, try moving it to a local drive.

Hi Jeff,
In the dev environment, we are using TFS.I have 16Gb of RAM and its a physical machine.I have been using Windows10 and one of my colleagues who was using Windows 8 and didn't had this issue, updated her laptop to Windows 10 and then she mentioned that the Visual Studio 2015 plug-in got really slow like mine. I am aware of that the No of automations I open slows down the studio.
