Pega V722 - Options for pushing notifications from mobile app (ios/android)?

Hi,

We are using a mobile app and is running on V722. I know there is a new feature:Push notification from mobile side using V83 and here is the link I got from PDN site. Is there anyway we can leverage this feature in our V722? What are the different possible options to achieve this functionality from our mobile app running in both iOS and Android.
