Pega upgrade from 6.1SP2 to 7.2.2 DB and App server run in different OS

Hi ,

I'm doing pega 6.1SP2 to Pega 7.2.2 upgrade , my DB server is running on OS IBM AIX 6.1 and App server WebLogic12.3 running on Linux 7.X.

Will this be fine that DB server run in a different OS than app server ?

Is there any dependency on which operation system the DB server is running ?

In Pega 7 platform version upgrade guide its not clear that the DB and App server run in same OS with same version .

Please help if any idea.
