Pega Underwriting for Insurance

Hi All,

Not able to update the personal edition with PUI (Ver 7.2 and 7.4). Any one have Pega personal edition with PUI. Please help.

Ho Monap, I have installed "Pega Personal edition" and do not have PUI framework in it. So, trying to update PUI in it and getting the issue. Please help.

Hi Shreedhar

Can you give more details on what errors you are facing. Please review the PUI Installation guide in Pega Community that gives you instructions on how to install PUI.

You need to install IIF (Insurance Industry Foundation) which is now renamed to PFI before installing PUI.

The PUI installation guide is here https://community.pega.com/system/files/pdfs/pega-underwriting-for-insurance-74-install-guide.pdf

As Karthik asks, we would need to understand where you got to on the installation (is it failing in the IIF install or the PUI install, and which file fails to install?), and perhaps see the logs depending on the issue you are getting. Please review the prerequisites in each document, and follow them before installing the application files.

I installed Platform personal edition successfully, but I want to test the Insurance pack. Where can I download the PFI.jar in other to import and install the package?
