Pega UI Kit upgrade for 8.5.2

We moved recently from Pega 7.2 to 8.5.2. We are currently using UI Kit 8. We are waiting to move the existing applications to Cosmos React when it is ready for production in 8.7. In the mean time, is it advisable to upgrade the UI kit to the latest version? If so, what is the UI Kit version that should be upgraded for Pega 8.5.2?

Can you also provide me a link to the UI Kit to know the benefits before upgrading it?
