Is there any difference prweb.war in 8.5.2 version from 8.3

Hi Team,

 

Currently we are using 8.3.1 pega version and planning for 8.5.2 upgrade. Is there any difference in prweb.war file in 8.5.2 version from 8.3.1 version?

From a POC, after data migration, we tried with reconfiguring context.xml file and restarted the server. we are able to bring up the server and no errors report during this process. we did not redeployed prweb.war file.

Could you please share some inputs and also what additional configurations require after redeploying prweb.war file.

Hi @DeepaRaniR5877

 

Even though the changes in prweb.war is rare and basic functionality may seem to work.

Using different pega version of prweb.war can lead to unknown issue as it has not been tested and certified.

It is always recommended to redeploy prweb.war file post pega platform upgrade to the version you are upgrading too. Which has been tested and certified on those version.
