Pega Studio 22 Version - Add ScriptLogger to visual studio code to use as dll in Pega Studio 22
I understand that external projects in C# should be written in Visual Studio and to be added as a DLL to "PublicAssemblies" folder for the Pega Studio 22. However, I would like to know how to log values from the external project as "Pega.Core.Script.ScriptLogger" will not be available in Visual Studio.
Please advise if it is possible to add the script logger to Visual Studio. If so, what DLLs should be added to Visual Studio?

@PraneshP9696Your DLL will need to reference Pega.Core.dll, Pega.OpenSpan.dll, and Pega.Shared.dll. All three of these will be found at Runtime as they are included with Pega Robotics Runtime. Once you have added those, then you can use the same methods found in the examples included in the script container.

@ThomasSasnett Thank you. Can you let me know how to interact between two C# scripts in latest version 22?
I want to call a particular class's methods inside another C# script. I tried by adding namespace, but it did not work.

@PraneshP9696 You cannot communicate between script containers in 22.1. You should consolidate the scripts into a single container if that is needed.

@ThomasSasnett I have both old and new studio in my laptop (Since I don't have Visual Studio, I am using Pega Studio 19.1.75 to build my C# to use in Pega Studio 22). I added the 3 DLLs you mentioned (from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Pegasystems\Pega Robot Studio v22") and also added "using ScriptLogger = Pega.Core.Script.ScriptLogger;" inside C# script.
However the solution is not building properly. I have attached the error screenshot.

@PraneshP9696 I don't think you can reference those from 19.1 since they are core functions and will likely break things in 19.1 and are likely not compatible. Whichever developer is going to be building your external DLL will have Visual Studio and should be provided with those three DLLs. They may need others, but the stack trace of any exception should help them determine which other ones they may need. Ideally, Pega Robot Studio would be installed on that machine to give them easy access to them.
