Pega Simulation reports auto archived. How to retain a simulation report for longer tenure?
Hello Team,
We have run many simulation reports a month back and those CDH Simulation reports are not visible in CDH Portal (Simulation Testing/Scenario planner/Value Finder). Is there any DSS configuration available to prevent auto archival of simulation reports over a defined period of time? Alternatively, is there a way to review an existing CDH Simulation executed a month back? Kindly advice.

When you say "run many simulation reports a month back" and then say "auto archival", I hope you mean to say auto-expiry.
Starting CDH 8.6, you might have noticed that simulations are converted to case types. So, simulations are now governed by case life-cycle including their SLA and expiry. The SLA is set to 30 days out-of-the-box. What this means is a simulation case is auto-resolved after 30 days. Simulation cases are expired for the same reason as any other typical cases. This also helps keep the simulation testing landing page uncluttered. So, I wouldn't recommend getting rid of the auto-expiry mechanism.
But of course, you can set the SLA to something more than 30 days. One of the ways to extend is by updating the following DSS.
Simulation/case/maxDaysToKeepOpen
Here again, the recommendation will be to set it to a value based on the simulation creation volumes for optimal performance on the simulation testing landing page.

There is a toggle on the simulation testing landing page which enables you to view the resolved simulations. With that toggle, you can view your simulation that might have expired after reaching the SLA. However, reports are accessible only if you've attached and preserved them on the case.

Thanks @kamag for your response. We would like to retain few simulation reports over the SLA period (30days) for internal purpose.
