Sorry this is in the wrong area of the community however I am struggling to understand if the following is possible.

I would like to write automation (web app / desktop app) automation of completing service requests in business applications (outside of Pega) example: Web application is called to complete web form data input and submission, once complete send a confirmation POST request to an internal API.

Once this workflow / scripting has been built in Studio I would need to be able to trigger the playback / execution of the automation on a VM via an API.

The reason for this is I would have a web portal that users can interact with and request actions to happen, for example a button "send me latest company share price"

The user would click the button on the web portal in a web browser, this tells an internal API to begin automation, which includes the triggering of the Pega automation workflow to "get share price" the workflow on the remote unattended VM would visit the company web site, scrape the shareprice and return this value back in the API response to the application.

Hopefully this makes sense, happy to explain / fill in the gaps if it's not clear.
