Pega Robotics Studio 8: interrogating Excel drawing objects
Is there any way to interrogate, read and/or set text within an Excel drawing object, or a comment?

Managed to analyse the objects in the ActiveSheet through the following automation. Setting the correct one is just a matter of comparing the text, name or type then setting the text property for the one which matches.

Not at this time. We support interaction with Excel via the connector and do not support interrogating the application itself. You might be able to access these objects through the Microsoft.Office.Excel.Interop as we do expose those objects via the connector. You'd likely want to code that in C# as there may be examples on the web available on how to read those objects.

You can do anything that is accessible through the Excel.Interop process. I have not researched this but suspect there is some way to do it. You would not do this through interrogation though.
