Pega Robotics Interrogating Controls that disappear onclick elsewhere
I am trying to interrogate a control that is visible and available when a button is clicked. If I click the interrogate icon to interrogate, then the control to be interrogated disappears(The control to be interrogated would disappear if I click anywhere on the screen other on that control like Menu dropdown, but the control to be interrogated appears after click of a buttton not as a part of Menu hence i cannot add this as Add Menu Item). Attached are the snapshots.
Please help with your suggestions on how to handle interrogation of such controls that is not visible if we click any other element.

To interrogate the control, the trick is to use Test Methods to perform the action you need, then drag the bulls-eye to interrogate it. If the action needed is something like a hover event, then you will need to raise this html event to trigger the menu to show artificially.

Thank you for your response. I handled this by using script with SendKeys.Send() method to send DOWN arrow and ENTER key press event. It would be of great help if you can provide any link where I can get details of using Test Methods

While in interrogation mode, right-click any matching control in the object explorer and you will see an option for Test Methods.
