Pega Robotic Automation Importer component - Component not created in Pega

Hi There,

I have followed the steps mentioned in below article to use the Pega Robotic Automation Importer Component , I see an issue when using these components.

When I deploy a package in Pega Robot Studio , as per the documentation this component should perform below steps but I don't see its happening. Any advise?

  • Bundles all data and rule artifacts into a Pega Platform component.
  • Attaches the newly created Pega Platform component to your development stack
  • I don't see a Rule-Connect-Robot created and don't see the Product rule with the component id.

According to the documentation, here are the pre-reqs;

  • Ensure that you are using Pega Robot Manager 8.5.1 or later.
  • Unlock your application rule to attach the Pega Robotic Automation Importer component to the development stack.
  • Ensure that you have the pxPostPackageMetadata privilege that is required for package publishing. This privilege is included in the PegaRoboticAutomationImporter:PackagePublisher role that is provided by default with the Pega Robotic Automation Importer component.

Thanks Thomas for the quick response. Below is the my response

  • Ensure that you are using Pega Robot Manager 8.5.1 or later. Suman: The component is supported from Pega 8.2 and currently I have installed Pega Robot Manger 8.4
  • Unlock your application rule to attach the Pega Robotic Automation Importer component to the development stack. Suman: Yes it is unlocked
  • Ensure that you have the pxPostPackageMetadata privilege that is required for package publishing. This privilege is included in the PegaRoboticAutomationImporter:PackagePublisher role that is provided by default with the Pega Robotic Automation Importer component.Suman: Yes this role is added to the developer id which I used when deploying the project from Pega Robot Studio.
