Pega Robotic Automation Architect Essentials 8.0 certification

All,

I have completed the 'Pega Robotic Automation Architect Essentials 8.0' course and yet to take the assessment and I see that the Pega Robotic certification exam is available from October 2nd onward. So if I don't finish the related assessment in PDN by September 30th then I will have to appear for the certification examination?
