Pega Platform 8.1: is CentOS supported on Google Cloud Platform?

Hi All,

we need to know if CentOS is fully supported for Pega 8.1 installation on Google Cloud Platform (we didn't find it in 81_PlatformSupportGuide_September2018.pdf document.

If it's supported, what application server should we install?

Although CentOS is not officially supported, internally we run a lot of dev/test systems on CentOS with tomcat app server. You can run other app servers as well as long as CentOS is supported. Since the CentOS is not officially supported, you should avoid running mission critical systems on CentOS. Hope this helps!
