Pega PE 8.3 Installation Error

Hi,

I have the same issue with installing the Pega PE 8.3.

I get close to the end of the installtion and get ..

BUILD FAILED
C:\Pega\pegaGuiInstallerTemp\build.xml:279: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Pega\pegaGuiInstallerTemp\CreatePegaShortCut.vbs (Access is denied)

I do have JRE_HOME and Path set (see attachment)

I also run the installer as Administrator.

Please help.. :)

Hi Patrik,

 

Please add both system32 and jdk folder path to the PATH variable under the section "System Variables" in the Environment variables.

I managed to solve it, by installing in another directory, Not really sure why, since I have Admin access to both directories.
