Pega Marketing adjusting Batch size from
Hi,
We are adjusting the Batch-size on the Acceptance and Production environment through the marketing-portal and we are facing strange behaviour.
Pega is creating allot rules in the artifact ruleset when changing the batchsize from 250 to 125.
Why is this? My understaning was that this is just a application parameter that we can set and change.

Hi, which version of Pega Marketing are you using ? Since early 7.21 release, the save of the application setting or the dictionary configuration would re-generate artifacts that are needed for the run time to work. Though this is not directly related to your configuration changes of the batch size. You might see rules like report defenitions, data sets, classes, data flows etc being generated. This is expected.
