Hi Team,
My client is asking for below details.
1) Need official data sheet of the product
2) Pega log viewer can run off which operating servers
3) If Pega log viewer runs off jvm, then state which JRE and if that JRE can run under which windows servers.

Pega-LogViewer is a Java Swing based tool to view Pega RULES and Pega ALERT log files.
Needs Java 8 to run this tool.
UI is self-descriptive.

pega-logviewer-3.1 cant able to read the memory statistics while doing show chart. Its only showing requestor count, thread count.
And the option we have for select log pattern is not working although we gave exact pattern.
ex:%d{ABSOLUTE} [%20.20t] (%30.30c{3}) %-5p %X{stack} %X{userid} - %m%n
while analyzing the pega alerts log viewer3.1 always asking to select log pattern , although i select as above it never able parse the log and show the analytics where as logviewer2.0 automatically identify the patterns which logviewer3.0 cant identify

are you facing problem with both PegaRULES and PegaAlert logs
Can you tell which version of Pega the log files are from?
wrt to Log pattern issue in PegaRULES log, by default the Pega write logs in a pattern defined in prlogging.xml under PEGA appender for eg.

this xml file could be customised, then the output in the PegaRULES.log could be different, hence the dialog to define the pattern.
could you give a example screenprint of the PegaRULES.log file data, new few lines only. if possible including line which also shows "System date:" for ex.
