I noticed you hadn't received a reply on your Question about Pega Cloud and I wanted to see if you had found the solution to your question. Public Link URL --> Used for general external access (e.g., documentation or monitoring dashboards).

External Logs URL --> Specifically for linking to an external log viewer (e.g., Kibana, Splunk).

To set up your External log viewer-

Configure your external log viewer to receive logs from Pega. 

Get the direct URL to your external log dashboard or endpoint.

• Example for Kibana: https://kibana.companyname.com/app/discover#/

• Example for GCP Log Explorer: https://console.cloud.google.com/logs/query

In the Resource URLs screen paste the External Logs URL pointing to your log viewer.

 Note: If you're using Pega Cloud on GCP, you can stream logs to Google Cloud Log Explorer and For AWS, you might use CloudWatch or S3 buckets.

On Pega Cloud (SaaS), you can configure an external log viewer so teams can view logs without logging into the Pega environment directly. In the admin portal, go to Configure → System → Settings → Resource URLs. In this section, you will see two relevant fields Public Link URL and External Logs URL. The Public Link URL is used for resources or files you want to share publicly, and the External Logs URL is where you point to your log viewer service. First, set up a log viewer endpoint in your organization’s environment  this could be a Kibana dashboard, AWS CloudWatch URL, or Splunk search page where your Pega Cloud logs are streamed. Ensure that your logging integration is already configured via Pega Cloud support so logs are forwarded to your chosen tool. Once you have the endpoint URL, copy it into the External Logs URL field and save the settings. Test the link from the Pega Dev Studio to make sure it opens your log viewer page. Access is controlled by the log viewer tool, so confirm permissions are set so the intended Pega users can view the logs. If your log viewer is behind VPN or SSO, ensure those requirements are communicated to users. In short, Pega only stores and exposes the link the actual log streaming and authentication happen in your external system, so you must prepare that first before configuring the Resource URLs screen.
