Pega HTML element ID generating differntly from region to Region
Hi Team,
When we are writing automation for our application present in Pega 7.4 we are seeing HTML element ID is generating differently from QA region to Development region.Mainly this is happening for check box
Example:
Dev Region:
<input type="checkbox" id="pyWorkPagetmpPageList3pySelected3">
QA Region:
<input type="checkbox" id="pySelected3">
Please let us know on what basis pega will generate Id's,because of this inconsistency our test cases are failing in other regions,Since we are finding the elements based on Id.

It seems like using element id for automation is not a good idea as it can change frequently, instead use data-test-id

Use data-test-id for automation it is unique for the element across all environments.
An exemple of what we do to use selenium with Pega:
xpath = //span[@data-test-id='20160501013618045733253']
xpath=//a[@class="ellipsis"]
xpath=//button[@data-test-id='2014121801251706289770']
xpath=//input[@data-test-id='20160509105143041047433']

Going forward we will use but already we wrote so many xpath based on element IDs..So please suggest us any solution for this why Id is different from region to region
Also we see for checkbox data-test-id is same for all options,How can we choose if we want to select particular option
