Pega generated Elements ID's for control are getting changed
Pega generated ID's for elements are safe to use for automating the pega application?
I found that element ID's are getting changed in browser
e.g..
Initially Pega is generated element ID as pyNavigation1493684234060 for navigation rule.But Now ID value is getting changed like pyNavigation1519690826936. Because of this change my test cases are gets failed.

Hi There,
Using element ID for automation or any JS code is not a good idea, as it is expected to change.
For automation please use test ID to get formidable solution.

Hi ,
It is not recommended to use this kind of ID "pyNavigation1493684234060" as they generate dynamically.
But in few cases where the id is mentioned like below:
<header id="navbar" role="banner" class="navbar container navbar-default">
you can use id ,but be careful and make sure that it is not dulpicated anywhere in the entire document.
