Pega Chat 7.4 on Pega 8.2
Hi
One of our customer is using Pega 7.4 and Pega Chat 7.4 . Customer intends to upgrade Pega stack to 8.2 . Would like to know whether Pega Chat 7.4 ( this is the latest version ) will work on Pega 8.2

In that case, they are already using the 8.2 version of Chat server code. The production one is upgraded regularly and kept backward compatible.
If the customer is looking to move to 8.2, please read the upgrade guides thoroughly. There have been a lot of changes in the Chat feature.
