Pega 8.7 SMSC connector throughput

We are planning to use Pega OOTB SMSC connector when upgrading to CDH /CS 8.7

But we have a concern about throughput of the same.

With current solution(External Jar) we are sending 5-6 million messages per day(12 hours) and its expected to better the TPS after upgrade.

 

So please suggest if pega sms connector can match that performance. Also it would be great if you can share some benchmark numbers.

@mitrarii, did you get the reply or able to solve the issue. I am facing the same issue. SMS async connector is acting as a  bulk sync. SMS connector waiting for acknowledge to receive from SMSC and then it is sending next lot of short messages. It is causing drop in TPS.

Is there any way to achieve 6M subscriber in 12 hour?
