PEGA 8.6.1: Agent schedule informative only?
Hello,
We're running with PEGA 8.6.1.
An agent is scheduled to run at 11PM.
I changed the time in the agent schedule to run at 7am for a one shot run.
Agent has been manually restarted and new timing has not been picked up.
I then let master agent enabling the agent but still the timing from agent schedule was not picked-up.
Is agent schedule informative only in our PEGA 8 version?
Purpose is not to discuss Job Scheduler :-) I want to clarify agent schedule situation in PEGA 8.

As per the architecture design, Once you have updated schedule time in agent schedule directly - master agent will not override the agent schedule with timing information which you are having in agent rule automatically.
Please check whether you have performed any action after you manually updated the schedule time in agent schedule.. Because of this action might be master agent regenerated the agent schedule.
- Have you deployed any agent rule related changes recently.
- If any new node got introduced in your system.

Thanks for your reply.
This is a very typical action that I did a lot in PEGA 7.3.1 and this is properly working.
For above timing change, the agent schedule is well showing the new time I've put.
It's just not picked up by the system.
Admin Studio & AES are both showing the timing of the rule, not the timing of agent schedule. And it's not only a matter of nto showing the timing, activity behind is not executed.
Agent schedule is well picked up for having an agent started/stopped by master agent itself, but it seems rest is ignored.
