In pega 81, system is not posting latest dropdown value in clipboard
Hi,
In pega 81 Dropdown, system is not posting the latest selected value to clipboard.
Example :
Dropdown has values
Maryland
NewYork
Connecticut
First select values is NewYork , second select value is Maryland- after second selection system still hold NewYork value in clipboard, it is not adding Conneticut to clipboard
Anybody facing this issue pega 81? do we have any fix for it?

I tried the dropdown feature on Pega 8.1.3 system. It works ok.
Can you try the dropdown on UI Gallery on your system?
If OOTB works ok, then something is wrong on your dropdown configuration.

you are correct UI gallery is working, me too tried. when I source the dropdown values from datapage, when I change value in dropdown it is not working as expected

Hi ,
Is it with some special configuration that you are getting this behaviour? Like when the source of the dropdown is report/datpage/clipbaoird page,(or in all you are getting this), and also what is the action you have configured on the dropdown.

Any console errors are there ? You can check it via the developers tools of your browser(Click F12 to open the dev tools.)

Hi John,
Tried the similar use case with Page List as source to the drop down field and calling Refresh section on change event. Able to see the selected value in the clipboard without using post value also, tested in Pega 8.1.3 environment. I feel it would be better to share your use case screen shots along with the configurations and the output results of your actions to understand the special scenario in your use case.
