Issue with numerical values posted to clipboard

We are on Pega 7.1.9 . Observed that if we have an onchange post value event on a numerical property(Integer/Double/Decimal), an non integer invalid value still gets posted to the clipboard .

Hello Binod,

Thanks for posting your query to PSC:)

I have created a sample integer property with Onchange Post value. And I see that Non numerical values are not getting posted to clipboard.

Can you please share the configurations of the property ?

Hi Binod,

Generally you will see error that value is non-numeric and data will not be posted.

Better to use even control as numeric, that will not let you post anything that is non numeric.
