Pega 7.2.1 support for RHEL 8 and Oracle 12c

Hi Team,

Need to understand if the Pega 7.2.1 supports RHEL 8 and Oracle 12c.

If not, which Pega version can support this, as in the support guide we can see only RHEL6 & RHEL7.

Hi,

We have tried using RHEL v8 on Pega 8 series and it works fine. However, Pega does not officially support that version yet as it has not been tested on a Production scale yet.

So, if you want to use RHEL v8, you can go ahead but Pega would not be able to help if you run into any issues later.

Greetings - we are on Pega 7.4 and were looking at RHEL 8 as well.

 

Is there any plan to support RHEL 8 at some point?  If so, what is the timeframe? Thanks!
