Pega 7.2.1: Integrate with REST APIs using PATCH method

We are currently using Pega 7.2.1 and we have a requirement to connect with an external system via RESTful API using PATCH method. The Rule-Connect-REST rule in Pega 7.2.1 doesn't have option to call APIs with PATCH method.

Is there a patch/hotfix available to have this method added to Rule-Connect-REST rule in Pega 7.2.1?
