Pega 7.2 Exercise: Automatically updating the total cost of benefits issue with DataTransform
Hi,
When trying to create the datatransform by adding the expression exactly as it is in the tutorial I have this error:
Invalid expression or reference: List/group property reference MedicalPlan is missing a valid subscript value and cannot reference an embedded property.

It appears you may have created the properties MedicalPlan, DentalPlan and VisionPlan as Page List rather than Page. Using a Page List property, you will need to indicate the subscript value, e.g. .MedicalPlan(1).EmployeeCost.
However, since a BenefitsEnrollment case only have a single Medical Plan, using a Page mode property is more appropriate.
To rectify, you will need to delete away the 3 properties, and recreate them again. Be careful to select the correct property mode when recreating them.
