May I ask you which exercise exactly are you using? I did check in the: PEGA DECISION MANAGEMENT ESSENTIALS (7.13), The Importance of Propositions lesson, and exercise: Proposition Management (in the section Practicing What You Learned) and I see at the exercise Step 5b:"Examine “Save views” and select “Manage Propositions to launch Visual Business Director."

So it looks like Visual Business Director is not working for you. Are you using prpc.local to access the Pega Marketing Enablement 7.13 exercise system?

Please try this:

1. Click on the 'Start' windows botton, and in the 'Search programs and files' type in: 'Configure Java'

2. In the Java control panel enable logging, by checking the Enable logging check box in the Debugging section.

3. Send us the email with the result of the console window which wil open after you click on the ''Manage Propositions' link.

This might be a dumb Question, But what is the password for the User SystemArchetect@PropositionsManagement? The lesson shows a video but I can't log in to practice this lesson.

You did misspell the operator. Please take it as given in the exercise. Moreover, ensure you imported the EnvironmentSetup.zip file first.
