We have upgraded our client environment from Pega 6.3 to 7.1.8. In Pega 6.3 we used heavy customization to build up the entire Portal, including the Bulk Processing section. However, we managed to smoothly plug in the Pega 7 Bulk Processing screen (pzBulkProcessingList HTML Rule), but we would like to also have pagination in this section.
Currently Pega 7 doesn't provide pagination which is not helpful when you have thousands of items to load on the screen.
Could you please advise how we could add pagination in Pega 7 OOTB Bulk Processing screen?
If I'm not mistaken, pzBulkProcessingList is actually part of the 6.x style of bulk processing. I believe this was included in 7.1.x to ease the upgrade process, however bulk processing was overhauled in 7.1 and a number of new rules were introduced. The new functionality is all housed under pyBulkActionsWrapper (or pzBulkActionsWrapper before 7.1.8), and the list of items is paginated by default (via a grid in pyBulkProcessingAssignDisplay).
To see pyBulkActionsWrapper in action, you can take the following steps:
Thanks a lot for your input and apologize for the late response.
Due to heavy customization of our user portal and short of bandwidth we can't make the above migration as of now. But, we will consider it in future when we have a direct requirement for this from the client.
