Pdf generation takes too long

Using Create PDF shape, and referencing an embedded section on the PDF shape, I generated a one-page PDF, standard pdf type PDFUA selected. The file size is also small (60 to 80 Kb). However, the PDF generation takes too long up to 2 minutes of delay is observed. Is there a way to see the possible reasons for the delay and to resolve it.
